Abstract

In today's literary studies, one can find enough studies on the history of literature, modern literature. However, there are still many scientific and theoretical issues that need to be clarified. In particular, in literary studies, studies on the collections and publications of modern poets and their scientific, artistic, journalistic heritage have been created and are being created. However, publications related to the work of mothers, wives, sisters of modern artists who lived and created in the beginning of the 20th century, as well as Uzbek poets in general, have not yet been brought to the attention of readers. In the article, the first collection of young Uzbek poets who lived and created at the beginning of the 20th century - the work “Erk Kuylari”, its composition, the specific characteristics of the work of poets, traditionalism and innovation in the work of artists of the same period are scientifically based. This makes it possible to draw scientific conclusions about the literary environment of the period in determining the place of the works of poets of the beginning of the 20th century in the literature of the period.
