Abstract

The article examines the content-related characteristics of public relations implementation in specialized medical and health-oriented publications in Uzbekistan. In the context of increasing competition in the healthcare sector and growing public interest in independently obtaining medical information, PR has become a key instrument for building audience trust in medical institutions, services, and professionals. Based on a content analysis of national publications such as Anatomica, Medical Express, Shifo-info, and others, the main thematic areas of PR communication are identified. These include the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, the advancement of innovative diagnostic and treatment methods, coverage of mental health issues, professional orientation, and socially significant campaigns. The study reveals that contemporary medical PR content combines journalistic objectivity with targeted communicative influence, employing genres such as interviews, case stories, reviews, rankings, and opinion columns. Particular attention is given to native formats and storytelling, which enhance audience trust and empathy. The author concludes that medical content is no longer merely a supplement to PR activities; rather, it is becoming their foundation. Effective communication is therefore built not on direct brand promotion, but on the creation of emotionally authentic narratives that reflect that reflect readers’ needs and values.
