COMMUNICATION FAILURE IN INTERNET NEWS
Abstract
Today, the communicative-pragmatic direction in Internet news attracts more attention of researchers.The question inevitably arises not only about the positive communicative interaction between the addresser and the addressee, but also about communicative failures. The article, on the example of Uzbek and Russian Internet news (Gazeta.uz, Kun.uz, Podrobno.uz, Lenta.ru, Gazeta.ru), considers such linguistic aspects of communication failures as stylistic features of news, including headlines and leads, the use of standard vocabulary, the length of sentences, paragraphs, etc. The material shows that often in the Uzbek media there are materials aimed at creating a positive image of the country. Such articles are written in the official language creating a communicative failure. Russian online media are mainly characterized by such communicative failures, which are associated with literal translation into Russian from English, as well as the violation of stylistic compatibility.
