THE CONNECTION OF A PRECEDENT NAME WITH A STEREOTYPE, ETALON AND SYMBOL IN LINGUOCULTUROLOGY (on the example of phraseological units)
Abstract
The basis of linguistics deals with a number of problems, such as stereotype, benchmark, symbol. When these concepts are analyzed in the studies on linguistics, it is observed that the views on them are seriously different from each other, one concept is confused with another. Even because prepositional names acquire a highly informative, expressive and allusive character, the stereotype, etalon and symbol attitude and differences are brighter embodied through them. The fact that the noble horse takes up space from a system of stereotype, etalon and symbols suggests that this name became a precedent. From the conditions of precedence, representatives of the linguistic society are manifested in these ways, as well as having a strong place in the linguistic memory and the feature of repeated revitalization in discourse. In a stereotype, observing a generalization of certain molded thoughts around a concept, in a symbol, the figurative (distance from reality) property of the proverbial noun is strongly expressed; in the case of a benchmark, we see that the precedent name indicates that it is precisely the aspect or feature that is involved and well known to everyone. Accordingly, this article is focused on opening up the stereotype, benchmark and symbol relationship through precedent names, bringing differences between them to the surface.
